I am passionate about all facets of multi-media technology and have geared my education, internships and recent work experience towards a career in this exciting and rapidly growing industry. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 2014 majoring in Motion Pictures and Computer Science. And have since been working full-time as a Multimedia Specialist at the University of Miami in the Otto G. Richter Library for the past two years.
My key responsibilities include managing the operation, facilitation, and maintenance of the Digital Media Lab, that houses 16 iMacs running Adobe Suites, a large format printer, a 3D printers, and high resolution photo printer. With expert knowledge in Adobe Suites CC I am able to provide 1-on-1 instructions to faculty, staff and students who seek guidance with multimedia course work, from conceptual designs to concrete assets. I also operate multi- camera productions, for events, by combining my technical experience with and sense of aesthetics to produce the best results possible.
Before working at the Otto. G Richter Library I worked as a Wire Technician for AT&T. Network interface was my bread and butter. Not only did I rewire entire homes and business I also went beyond the call of duty by helping costumers with setting up home entertainment and workstations.
In my spare time I volunteer with Code Art Miami as an Instructor. This organization endeavors to highlight the creative side of coding and provides a vehicle to inspire girls and young women to learn to code and to showcase their creations. It also fosters a sense of community among the participating students and paves the way for future collaborations.
